Stephanie Boykin

Manasseh Board Member

Stephanie Boykin, a resident of Hazelwood, Missouri, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to her role as a board member for Manasseh Ministry. With 40 years of service in the United States Air Force, she retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. In addition to her military career, Stephanie has served as a public school teacher, youth leader, and community organizer. Her commitment to advocacy and community service extends to her former role as Chairman of the Missouri Department of Corrections Citizens Advisory Committee, where she was appointed by the Governor.

Stephanie’s personal connection to the criminal justice system has profoundly shaped her passion for reform. Having had loved ones incarcerated, she has experienced both the emotional and financial toll firsthand. Over the years, she has provided financial assistance to family members in state and federal prisons—covering legal fees, sending money for daily needs, and ensuring communication through phone calls. When her cousin tragically passed away in prison, her family faced the additional hardship of ensuring he was properly buried, a moment that added further strain.

"The constant concern for their welfare and safety while incarcerated weighs on me daily. I hope that the system is preparing them for a better future, rehabilitating them so they can successfully return to society," she reflects.

Stephanie’s lived experience fuels her commitment to Manasseh Ministry's mission, and she is dedicated to advocating for the rehabilitation and reintegration of formerly incarcerated individuals.
