T.D. El-Amin

Legislative Advisor & Outreach Coordinator

Talibdin "TD" El-Amin is a distinguished author, publisher of Missouri's oldest African-American newspaper, and a former Missouri State Representative. A graduate of Harris-Stowe State University and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, TD is also a committed member of AMVETS and VFW, with service during Desert Storm/Shield. As a dedicated husband and father of six, he has devoted his life to enhancing the social, political, and economic well-being of underserved populations. TD is particularly passionate about addressing veteran homelessness, reducing recidivism, and supporting the families of incarcerated individuals. His leadership in legislative outreach and community engagement is instrumental to the ministry's success.

What we do

Who we are

Manasseh Ministry, a nonprofit organization located in St. Louis, Missouri. Envisioned by Richard Jackson in 1988 during his incarceration with a purpose to assist currently, formerly incarcerated people and their families. Upon his release, Mr. Jackson and volunteers began the necessary work, offering direct services to currently, formerly incarcerated people and their families.
